The full-time intern will support the paralegals in AHF’s Legal Department in litigation as well as transactional work, which can include fact investigation, fact research, proofreading, copy editing, witness interviewing, document review, assisting with due diligence in advance of corporate transactions, and performing administrative tasks. The intern will support AHF’s in-house Legal Department in many areas, including litigation, advocacy, employment, housing, compliance, global, etc.

The intern will be exposed to various law practice areas, including class actions, small and large litigation matters, commercial contracts, government contracts, government grants, healthcare transactions, healthcare regulatory compliance, etc. The intern will work in a team environment to meet and manage deadlines for court cases and commercial transactions. The intern will attend weekly Legal Department meetings and attend other applicable AHF meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a current undergraduate student at an accredited U.S. college or university.
  • Must commit to the full duration of the program and full-time hours.
  • Must be skilled in writing, analysis, and communication.
  • Complete full internship starts June 6th – August 30th
  • Work hours are Monday-Friday 8:30 am-5:30 pm
  • Hybrid Schedule
