Urology Health Sciences Pool Ad University of California Los Angeles Requisition Number: JPF10961 The Department of Urology at the University of California, Los Angeles, anticipates openings for physicians in its various divisions. These openings will be at the level of Assistant Professor or above, depending upon the candidate’s qualification and will be in the Health Sciences Clinical Series (non-tenure track). Criteria for the Professor in Health Sciences Clinical Series: Health Sciences Clinical Professor series faculty engage in scholarly or creative activities which derive from and support their primary responsibilities in clinical teaching and professional and service activities. The divisions include: Urologic Oncology, Pediatric Urology, Renal Transplantation, Endourology and Stone Disease, Andrology/Men’s Reproductive Medicine, and Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery Will primarily participate in patient care with some or all of: resident teaching, medical student precepting, university and Department service, and scholarly or other creative activities. REQUIREMENTS: M.D., D.O. or M.D./Ph.D. from an accredited institution with appropriate clinical training and experience. Have current or will apply for California Medical License and Board-Certified (or eligible) Candidates must have demonstrated capabilities for teaching, professional service and/or research suitable to the HS Clinical Professor series. Positions are dependent upon funding and availability. Salary and rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointments in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor Series are for one year with reappointments considered annually.
