Job Summary The Carrier Account Executive 3 is responsible for the sales strategy and promotion of Comcast Business Carrier Ethernet Access Services to domestic telecommunications service providers. Works as part of a team to drive sales by focusing on acquisition, development and management of strategic prospective clients in designated territories or market segments. Designs and delivers live sales presentations to prospective national and strategic clients, develops relationships with clients and positions Comcast Business products and services as key components of the sales strategy. Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex systems problems. Plans and leads team projects and acts as a cross-functional liaison. Acts as a subject matter expert. Role will be virtual with expected national travel around 4 – 6 times per year. Ideal candidate sits in mountain or pacific standard time zones. Job Description Core Responsibilities Creates and delivers face-to-face sales presentations to regional and strategic prospective clients that demonstrate knowledge of the Comcast Business portfolio with a focus on Carrier Ethernet Access Services (EDI/DIA). Drives to meet monthly quota and KPIs dependent on the segment through sales strategies and by cultivating and providing an excellent customer experience. Stays abreast of competitive landscape and emerging technologies to best position Comcast Business Carrier Services in the marketplace. Understands the product portfolio and can make the best recommendations to the client. Develops strategies to promote Comcast Business Carrier Services portfolio within territory or segment. Retains customer base by delivering on the company credo and ensuring a superior customer experience. Maintains and builds customer relationship to drive customer, satisfaction, retention, and increase sales. Cross collaborates with internal teams to ensure operational efficiencies and service levels meet and exceed customer expectations through strong customer service orientation with excellent follow up skills. Maintains accurate and quality sales records and prepares sales and activity reports as required. Attends out-of-the-office meetings with customers on a regular basis and demonstrates excellent verbal and written skills and skill presenting, persuading and negotiating. Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance. Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of sales experience with regional and national carriers. Resides in western, mountain regions of the US. Education Bachelor’s Degree While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience. Relevant Work Experience 5-7 Years Salary: Primary Location Pay Range: $74,360.00 – $125,840.00 Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. Targeted Commission: $65,000 Our sales compensation programs offer the potential for significant upside above targeted earnings for those who overachieve their sales targets. Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
