Assists all levels of management in budgetary development and monitoring. Salary Range: Annual Rate Minimum $81,900.00 Midpoint $116,200.00 Maximum $150,500.00 Required Qualifications: Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with staff and senior management Ability to work with multiple and changing priorities Solid understanding of decision support systems, cost accounting principles, and accounting systems Minimum 2 years experience using Excel to maintain spreadsheets and perform data manipulation Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Management, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience Must possess general knowledge of various reimbursement methodologies (per diem, per case, capitation, indemnity, etc) Must demonstrate high level analytical skills with focus on business analysis and secondary focus on systems analysis Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties Preferred Qualifications: Two years experience working with a cost accounting system Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms Conditions of Employment: The University of California, Irvine (UCI) seeks to provide a safe and healthy environment for the entire UCI community.
