Join our team as an Entry-Level Wind Turbine Technician and start your career in the renewable energy industry. You’ll work alongside experienced technicians to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair wind turbine systems at utility-scale wind farms. This role provides hands-on technical training while working in a physically active outdoor environment.

Key Responsibilities

Installation and Maintenance:

· Assist with the inspection, maintenance, and repair of wind turbine components and systems.

· Climb wind turbines and work at elevated heights while following all safety procedures.

· Operate hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and maintenance machinery safely.

· Support senior technicians during mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting.

· Perform preventative maintenance on turbines, motors, gearboxes, and related systems.

· Assist with replacing and repairing turbine components as needed.

Safety and Compliance:

· Attend daily safety briefings and follow OSHA and company safety regulations.

· Wear required PPE including harnesses, helmets, gloves, and fall protection equipment.

· Follow confined space, lockout/tagout, and working-at-heights procedures.

· Maintain clean and organized work areas to support safe operations.

Documentation and Reporting:

· Record maintenance activities, inspections, and equipment status updates.

· Report safety concerns, equipment failures, and operational issues promptly.

· Assist with service logs, maintenance records, and job completion documentation.

Work Environment and Expectations

This position requires physical labor outdoors in varying weather conditions and frequent work at elevated heights. Technicians must be comfortable climbing wind turbines, lifting heavy equipment, and working in remote locations. Travel and overtime may be required depending on project schedules and service demands.

Requirements

· Must be at least 18 years old.

· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

· Ability to lift up to 80 lbs repeatedly throughout the workday.

· Comfortable working at heights and climbing ladders regularly.

· Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

· Willingness to learn mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

·Must pass a drug and background check. 

Job Type: Full-time; Benefits: Health insurance, paid training, overtime opportunities, advancement into skilled trades, and hands-on construction experience; Schedule: Monday–Friday, with occasional overtime and weekend work depending on project schedules.
