Security Officer Mobile Driver Patrol

As a Security Officer Mobile Driver Patrol in Pomona, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, supporting site needs while responding to situations with professionalism. Day Time Tue 12:00 PM – 06:00 PM Wed 12:00 PM – 06:00 PM Thur 12:00 PM – 06:00 PM Fri 08:00 AM – 04:00 PM Sat 08:00 AM – 04:00 PM
What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrance areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor customer and visitor activity, assist with access and line management during busy periods, and support store personnel with security-related issues as they arise.
• Observe for unusual behavior, policy violations, and/or potential theft indicators, and communicate detailed, timely information according to post orders and Allied Universal protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
