Position Title: Senior Field Service Engineer
Salary $141,687 – $165,240 / Year
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, 40 Hours/Week
Summary of Duties: Carryout installation, start-up, checkout, commissioning, and programming activities. Install LV and MV equipment and ensure compliance with defined quality standards. Prepare, supervise, and execute maintenance plans for LV and MV equipment. Complete test documentation and reports. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair wiring or equipment failures. Develop retrofit solutions. Provide technical support to all Project Managers, Technical Managers, Project Engineers, and Senior Electrical Service Specialist. Support Engineering design and constructions safety performance. Support customer requirements, respond to service requests in a timely manner, develop solutions, and address customer complaints. 40% domestic travel required to customer sites in Cypress, CA.
Qualifications: The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered, or as a Commissioning Engineer, Field Engineer, Electrical Engineer, or an acceptable alternate occupation. The position requires five (5) years of experience with the following skills and technologies: Power Substations; Relay Logic, Three-Line with Electrical Drawings; Experience with High-Voltage, Medium-Voltage, and Low-Voltage equipment; GIS Switchgear. 40% domestic travel required to customer sites in Cypress, CA.
